According to the random thingy chooser, the winner is:

KELLY!

Congratulations; you have successfully cheered up my book. :) Email me your address, as you have 24 hours to claim your prize or it will go to a different book cheerer-upper.

For my personal favorite, I choose:

Aik!

It was pretty close between Aik and Jessica who introduced me to that fabulous weirdo anthem “All My Heroes Are Weirdos”, but I had to go with Aik. Based on her comment, she sounds like a really cool, confident, super-nerd. Love that! Super-nerdiness must be encouraged.

Honorable mentions:
Steve and Lacey for great quotes, although Ninefly’s was the best: “Creativity is a mental disorder“. Soooo getting that on a tee shirt someday.

sbklinda and Thuy for knowing how to twist logic until it screams, “Uncle!”

Yan for having the most educational comment.

Emilee and Kay whose posts always make me feel normal.

Statements I must comment on:
Mike Jung – name one thing badminton players ever did to contribute to society. Exactly.

Ari - I don’t think it would be boring if people walked around naked. It would be the opposite of boring.

And Susan, what can I say? I like the irony :p

Thanks for playing, y’all!

I feel like I should comment that I play badminton…sometimes…when forced to lol

  2. Dia Says:

I played badminton once. I kept knocking the ball, or shuttlecock as Mike calls it, into the woods. I think I was hitting it too hard and with too many hands. Cuz I’m sporty like that.

  3. Yan Says:

It’s cause your sheer awesomeness frightens the little birdies (another name for the shuttlecock for immature high schoolers ;P).

  4. Thuy Says:

    Congrats to the winners!

  5. ninefly Says:

    congrats to the winners!
and lol I’m glad you like the quote, I might get it on a shirt myself one day >D

  6. Aik Says:

That’s exactly why being a weirdo isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Thanks for choosing my comment as your favourite, Dia! I’m so excited! XO

    Have a GREAT day! :)

  7. Kay Says:

Aahahah. If I actually played badminton, it would end up being one of those lame, America home videos, the one that you can’t stop staring at because it looks like a bad car accident. Dead dang serious.
It would be awful for my family to deal with such and event. We all know I’m the unlucky person that most likely get recorded on such event of disgrace and lack of coordination.

    Cheers to us W. A. A. CHAMPIONS.
p.s (Dia you make me feel normal too, hard to find that these days, Cheeps peeps.)

  8. Susan Says:

Really bad use of a modifying a classic quote for your own purposes alert

    “The irony, the irony!”
